It does what it says in terms it will suck and hold u in and give u an awesome shape!! The gusset is really wide open and I ended up wearing my undies OVER it for modesty. It's VERY WELL MADE- the material is really good quality and the stitching really well done and so no inner seams digging into ur skin. Also it's easy to close with the clips and the zipper features.My downsides would be that the torso is too long for me as I am short and that can cause it to bunch up when I am sitting. And the legs are a bit too long for my liking, but that IS the style I bought, so in that sense it still really does what it's supposed to.. I bought it for post surgical use and for that it has been EXCELLENT!! Cool to wear even in hot Caribbean weather!(The pics were taken about a week post surgical so still had a lot of swelling around the tummy. The garment was comfy to wear even with sutures still intact.)
