Very shiny, has a nice look. Unfortunately the metal is so soft and has so many break points that if you put just about any pressure on the belt it will snap at one of a thousand 'weakest links'. It's pretty normal that if you get a cheap metallic belt you'll need to put it back together once in a while, but this particular material just pulls open so easily and is so fiddly to get back in place it's really not worth it. Fine if you keep it loose or always stand perfectly straight but if you need to bend over with it on, it'll probably break. And since each of these little links has five points that come together like a claw, getting it back together is a pain, and it breaks more easily every time. It's a cheap belt and I don't have very high expectations but in practice this one is pretty much unwearable for me.This is a TERRIBLE design! It is impossible to place the knot in the center and have the belt look balanced. The portion to the right of the knot is much longer than the part to the left of the knot. Supposedly, this is adjusted for with the narrow part of the chain, but this just doesn't work, at least for me. A far better design would be to have the parts on BOTH the left and right sides of the knot equal in length, with narrow chains on each side, each with a lobster claw clasp. This would enable the belt knot to be centered, with the narrow chains both kept from dangling (in the back) by being attached to the other narrow chain. If you are pencil-slim, perhaps you can place the knot of this particular belt in the center, but for most of us, that would be an impossibility. This problem with centering a buckle, knot, or something else occurs all too often in belt design as cheapness of manufacture and using the least materials take precedence over the problem of having design symmetry as a belt is worn. That's a shame! Designers, please take note.I have not seen this belt because I had it shipped direct to my Grandaughter. She said that it's pretty and she really liked. I know the price was wonderful and my Grandaughter would have told me if the belt was inferior. Thank you for offering such good deals here at the holidays. I have been very happy with my shopping on the internet. I live in a very small (3000) town in Texas so it's nice to be able to buy anything you want on the internet. Also, I am in a wheelchair so I am somewhat limited with shopping. Thank you for the super quick delivery.I thought this belt was interesting when I saw it. When it arrived it looked as it was pictured. My biggest complaint is how easily it tangles when it is stored or packed in a suitcase. I've had to untangle it several times.Looks like good quality in the image, but feels flimsy in the handAlthough it was not too bad, my wife made me return it as she always finds these items for $5 or less in target and the likes. My anticipation quickly turned to disqust and disbelief when I slid the belt out of it's plastic sleeve.I felt I had picked up an item from a $.50store.The metal was flimsy and the detailing unfinished. It hurt your hand to rub it against the backside.Knowing I would not be able to wear it as the signature piece intended, I still gamely tried it on with the jeans and blouse I was wearing.Immediately it beoke. I threw it un an ashrray where it still resides. For the first time in my life, I was so disgusted with the lack of quality control and the sub-standard quality of the item I had purchased, I didn't even file a complaint or request a refund.I bought the silver tone and worn it with a dressier outfit, as well as jeans and baggy shirt...it looked great with either style! It fits very well, hangs nicely, isn't too shiny nor too dull which adds to its appeal of flexibility with many styles and outfits. Seems true to size & am very pleased with it. Have owned it only a short time & am hoping it doesn't corrode. Nice value btw!Very pretty however the knot is NOT in the center as its shown its more off center. Don't really expect the gold tone to last long.
