I was a bit intimidated by the person who gave a one-star review, but I found the book for half price so bought it anyway as there is VERY little inside information available on auto manufacturing. That makes this book valuable. I have NOT read the entire book yet because my needs are not the norm for the auto industry, but what I have read shows very in-depth knowledge, research, and WORK by a knowledgeable author. There MIGHT be errors but I can certainly forgive them.In our case we are building a prototype and hopefully before the end of the year 2016 will set up production of an innovative electric car. This book is not so relevant because we will be using very different production methods (Aluminum balsa sandwich body requiring little welding other than the basic steel frame, and no stamping presses). But it certainly helps me to understand this David understand (and beat) my Goliath competition. I was hoping for more information on Final Assembly, and some INSIDER INFORMATION on such things are worker input per car, relative area dedicated to each assembly section, timing, and other things. However the title of the book is Automotive BODY Manufactuing, not Final Assembly, so I can't complain too much. However, I would recommend more information on this in a future edition, which I hope does come out.I would have given the book four stars because it is logically written for professionals entering or continuing their education in the major automobile manufacturers and not for my case. But for those professionals it is certainly a good book with a wealth of information that can make the reader knowledgeable about the processes involved to a point that would have required considerable on-the-job training. And lastly, I can certainly assume that the author is of Muslim origin, and that the one-star rating might have included prejudice, as technically it is an invalid rating. So honestly I added another star to make up for the other reviewer's incorrect review. So here is to Mohammed and all Muslims of the world deserving acceptance on equal terms as reasonable and intelligent people whose main concern is being good citizens, neighbors, and family members despite a few extremists who react violently to the the invasion of their lands and desecration of their culture by foreign troops, which invasions have no purpose other than enriching the US military industrial complex. These love it when there are terrorist attacks. Most Muslims don't. To see part of why I say this see my youtube videos Exorcism of US Congress. Thank you Mohammad.
