I use the product in the way it was intended and the lotion is beneficial. I love and have loved the scent for many many years. I was given a bar of Maja soup by a friend and *I put it in my lingerie drawer. Sometime later I bought several boxes and put the soaps in my dresser drawers.I am an allergic person w/little tolerance for scented products but this one doesn't bother me. Using it as I do, only I get the pleasure from the slight scent. I don't offend all and sundry by the overpowering smell of perfume. Having 4 teenage girls who left th house in a green fog of perfume odor, I might be more sensitive to the phenomenon than most.
